CocoaBloom 2024 Recap: A Year of Faith, Growth, and New Beginnings

As I sit down to reflect on 2024, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. This past year has been a journey—one marked by faith, resilience, and new beginnings. Through every twist and turn, God has been faithful, and I’ve learned so much about trusting Him in the process.

For those of you who have walked alongside me this year through CocoaBloom Life, thank you. Your encouragement, prayers, and presence have been a source of strength. This platform has always been about nurturing faith, fostering community, and inspiring growth, but this year, I’ve seen those values come alive in ways I never imagined. And though I have not always been consistent, again, God has been faithful.

Faith Through Every Season

2024 was a year where I had to lean into my faith like never before. Whether it was in moments of uncertainty or stepping boldly into new opportunities, I was reminded time and time again that God’s plans are greater than my own.

One of the most meaningful lessons this year was learning to embrace the waiting season. If you’ve read my posts, you know how much I’ve wrestled with trusting God’s timing, especially when I couldn’t see what was ahead. But through it all, I’ve discovered the beauty of surrender—of letting go and letting God work in ways only He can.

Stepping into Bold Ideas

This year, I also took some bold steps professionally. I officially launched Leandra McLaurin Coaching (LMC) where I help high-achieving women who feel stuck in their business or career transition from overwhelm to purposeful action. I provide the clarity and confidence to take the next step toward their goals—whether launching a business, pivoting in their career, or overcoming mental blocks, and wow, what a journey it’s been! Helping others clarify their ideas, pivot in their careers, and build faith-based businesses has been a dream come true. It’s a reminder that God doesn’t just plant seeds in us—He calls us to cultivate them and share the harvest with others.

The Power of Community

If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year, it’s that we’re not meant to do life alone. Community has always been at the heart of CocoaBloom, and this year, that truth became even more real to me.

Whether it was through meaningful conversations, brainstorming sessions, or simply showing up for one another, I’ve been reminded of the power of connection. Even in my personal life, as I’ve navigated new relationships and learned to trust again, I’ve seen how God uses community to stretch us and grow us in ways we don’t always expect.

Lessons from the Soil

2024 hasn’t been without its challenges. Starting a business from scratch, leaning into faith when the answers weren’t clear, and embracing the “hidden” seasons of growth were all part of the journey. But growth happens in the soil, not in the spotlight. This year, I’ve seen firsthand how those quiet, unseen moments of faithfulness prepare us for the fruit-bearing seasons ahead; it’s not perfect nor what I expected AND I am grateful

Looking Ahead to 2025

As 2025 is in full swing, I’m filled with so much hope and anticipation. There are big dreams on the horizon—retreats, masterminds, courses, and deeper ways to connect with all of you. But more than that, I’m excited to see how God will continue to move in both my life and yours.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support means more to me than you’ll ever know. My prayer for you as we enter the new year is that you’ll walk boldly in the clarity and confidence that comes from trusting God. Let’s continue to grow together—rooted in faith, blooming in purpose.

With love and gratitude,
Leandra
